  Dear someone/anyone/everyone



For my birthday (Sept 6th), I'd like my tonsils out.
I can't keep going through this intense pain on an annual/biannual basis, and am spending the first sunny day in two weeks wrapped up in a blanket taking 3 different types of painkiller and throat spray, and weeping quietly.

  Oh, and Benjamin Bruno (he of brunette curls and sweet face and super french accent and heartbreakingly gay), as in Benjamin Bruno, the assistant to Carine Roitfeld, my all time hero, emailed me.

And said things like "wild bunch of thanks" and "happy parenthesis". And we all fell slightly more in love.

  Today videos of the Spice Girls at Victoria's Secret and Boyzone on Children In Need, Coconut Records' songs, 10 magazine, a text message from Diane about the Boosh and a phone call with darling Darling all combined in a weird way to make me realise how much I love my life and how many good things and people are in it.

I'm the most happy I've been in over a week. It's secure.

Now all I need is one of those speedy kettle things that boils a mug of tea in 5 seconds and I'm done.
